~Intro into the~

Chakras

Chakra means "wheel" in Sanskrit, and refers to cone-shaped vortices that spin and vibrate within the energy body.   Life force energy flows in and out of us through the chakras.   Each chakra has an area of life that its energy affects particularly.   If a chakra is closed down or out of balance, the life energies in that area will be affected. Open, strong and balanced chakras make all areas of our life energies better and promote health and healing.  Humans are made up of many chakras.  We have 7 major, 21 minor, and 49 minuscule chakras. The first three chakras - root, sacral and solar plexus - are responsible for survival, sense of self and inner power.  The fourth chakra, the heart centre, connects our personal reality to the universal reality.  The remaining three chakras - throat, third eye and crown - are universal centres that focus on communication, insight, and wholeness/well-being.
